Ta’ Bistra Catacombs will be open to the public every last Sunday of the month from 09:00 to 16:00. Situated between the ancient town of Melite and the historic harbour of Salina, these catacombs are the largest set beyond the ancient city confines. Initially recorded in the late 1800s and investigated in 1933 by Captain Charles Zammit, the site has been revitalized with further studies in 2004, 2013, and 2014, revealing new discoveries and interpretations.
