Festivals Malta and Teatru Manoel present an enchanting rendition of Il Re Pastore. This underappreciated opera, composed when Mozart was just 19, returns with Maestro Giulio Prandi leading the orchestral ensemble. The piece, featuring themes of war and star-crossed lovers, is reminiscent of the quartet of lovers in Così Fan Tutte, with an Italian libretto by Metastasio.
